Nursery Provision

What we offer?

On top of the 15 universal hours available to all nursery children, extended entitlement is also available to working parents who meet an eligibility criteria and allows up to an additional 15 hours of free entitlement to be claimed on top of the universal 15 hours. Hours are flexible and can be used from 7.30am - 5.30pm.

We also offer over 30 hours for those. If you are not entitled to the 30 hours, provision is still available for a cost. Please speak to the office for more details.

All parents must complete a parent agreement form for both universal and extended hours.  This must be completed the term before your child starts to qualify for a place.

More information about the extended hours can be found at https://www.gov.uk/30-hours-free-childcare

More about Early Years

Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) is the stage of education for children which begins at birth and lasts until the end of the school year in which they become five (Reception year). By the age of five, they will attend school full time. This stage is based on the recognition that children learn best through play and active learning.

This is a very important stage as it helps your child get ready for school as well as preparing them for their future learning success. It should also support their development, care and learning needs. From when your child is born up until the age of 5, their early years experiences should be happy, active, exciting, fun and secure.
